Your event, your memories

Information we collect
We store uploaded photos and videos, their filenames and sizes, event details, upload timestamps, optional guest names and written messages. RSVP responses include the guest’s name, attendance choice, party size and optional note, visible only through private host access. Invitation sharing opens your device’s sharing tools or an email draft; we do not import inbox contacts or send invitation emails from the gallery. We record upload acknowledgments, optional promotional choices, their policy versions, and acceptance times for each file. Reports, moderation decisions and payment records support the service.
Who can see uploads
The event host and authorized Majestic administrators can access event uploads. Guest viewing is optional and controlled by the host. Newly uploaded memories need host approval before appearing in a shared guest gallery. Anyone who receives a private viewing link may be able to open it; share it carefully.
Storage and service providers
New original files are stored privately in Supabase. Existing event files may remain in Google Drive or SmugMug. Vercel hosts the application and Supabase provides its database and private storage. Payment processing is handled by Stripe when a payment is made. We do not collect full card numbers in the gallery application.
Host accounts
Optional host account sign-in is provided by Clerk, which processes account information such as your email address and session data. We store your Clerk account identifier and its link to your event. Guest uploads do not require a Clerk account.
Cookies and security
Clerk uses cookies to maintain host account sign-in. An owner session cookie keeps the administrator signed in. A guest device cookie supports reporting limits and event-specific uploader blocking. We store a hashed identifier for that purpose. Clearing cookies or changing devices can change the identifier. These cookies are used for service operation, not advertising.
Media use and optional promotion
The required upload checkbox allows Majestic to store and deliver your photos and videos to the host and to guests if the host approves them. It does not grant permission for Majestic advertising or social media posts. A separate, unchecked optional box lets you give Majestic Event Group LLC a nonexclusive permission to select, crop, edit and post the files you upload on Majestic websites and social media for business promotion without payment to you. Your upload works even if you leave that box unchecked. A promotional opt-in does not automatically publish anything, and it does not grant rights belonging to other people shown in a file. Before we use a file publicly, permissions for recognizable people, including a parent or guardian for a child, may still be needed. Contact Majestic to request that future promotional use stop and ask us to remove posts we control; copies or reposts by others may remain.
Retention and requests
The event’s access window controls online viewing and uploading. Expiry or removal from a gallery does not automatically erase originals from storage. Contact us for a stored-file deletion request, access concern or correction; we verify requests with the event host. Some service records may need to remain to handle billing, disputes or security.
